Job Description

You will play a critical behind-the-scenes role in helping patients move closer to their ideal smile. Working directly within the practice's clear aligner treatment planning workflow, you will upload patient records, manipulate 3D digital models, and prepare cases for the orthodontist's final review — all from the comfort of your home. You will own the accuracy and turnaround of every case you handle, following standardized clinical protocols with precision and ensuring the practice can serve its patients efficiently. This is a part-time role with real potential to grow as the practice scales, making it an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking for stable, meaningful remote work in the dental/orthodontic space.

Schedule

• Mon–Fri, 12PM – 4PM (during training), then flexible 20 hrs/week (Pacific Time)

Responsibilities

• Upload patient records into the Invisalign treatment planning platform to initiate case workups
• Adjust tooth movement positions within the 3D modeling software according to the orthodontist's standardized instructions
• Prepare treatment plans for the orthodontist's final review and case acceptance
• Ensure each case follows the prescribed set of movement protocols to maintain clinical accuracy
• Manage case turnaround efficiently to keep up with the practice's patient volume
• Communicate progress and flag any cases that require additional clinical input

Must-Have Requirements

• Familiarity with dental or orthodontic workflows and terminology
• Ability to learn and navigate treatment planning software with precision
• High level of attention to detail when making incremental adjustments to digital models
• Strong ability to follow standardized instructions consistently across multiple cases
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision after initial training
• Reliable and organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Bonus if you have prior hands-on experience with Invisalign's ClinCheck or a similar clear aligner treatment planning platform
• It helps if you have worked in a dental or orthodontic office setting, even in an administrative or assisting capacity
• Bonus if you are comfortable navigating remote desktop environments or cloud-based clinical platforms
