Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Marketing Automation Assistant as the operational backbone for a thought leader launching a B2B consulting brand. This role combines marketing execution with systems thinking. You will manage content workflows, social media publishing, email marketing automation, and ensure all tools and platforms are connected and functioning seamlessly. You will take raw ideas and strategic direction and turn them into polished, distributed content across LinkedIn, newsletters, and event promotions, bringing structure to creative chaos to free up the founder to focus on revenue and relationships.

Client Overview

Our client is a newly launched consulting, education, and community-focused company serving major global brands and Australian retailers. With a background in media, advertising, and commercial sales, the founder is building a personal brand while scaling a B2B business. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape the infrastructure and marketing presence of a fast-moving startup.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM AEST (likely to move to 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM AEST) (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and automate marketing workflows connecting tools like Notion, Claude, Complexity, Gemini, Beehive, and Luma
  • Publish and schedule content across LinkedIn and business social channels with branded tiles and visualizations
  • Edit photos and short-form video content from events into polished reels and social assets
  • Manage email marketing campaigns and newsletters using automated templates and distribution systems
  • Maintain and optimize the website and marketing funnels for lead conversion
  • Coordinate event content capture and post-event marketing distribution
  • Provide technical support for AI tools, CRM setup, and platform integrations
  • Create and maintain a documented content calendar and workflow blueprint

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant or coordinator with portfolio samples
  • Strong proficiency in marketing automation tools and workflow setup
  • Experience with LinkedIn content publishing and B2B social media management
  • Skills in photo editing and basic video editing for social media formats
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and newsletter distribution
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Bonus if you have experience with Notion, Claude, Beehive, or Luma
  • It helps if you have worked with CRM systems like HubSpot or Pipe Drive
  • Bonus if you have supported founders or consultants in personal brand building
  • It helps if you have experience in media, advertising, or commercial industries
