Job Overview
Our client is seeking an execution-focused Social Media & Video Content Manager to own the content production pipeline, social media channels, and local digital marketing for both their Snapology and Kumon centers. In this role, you will be the primary creator and editor, producing scroll-stopping short-form videos, designing localized photo advertisements, running seasonal paid ad campaigns, and optimizing local discovery (SEO/AEO/GEO).

Schedule
For Full-Time roles: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM ET

Responsibilities

Snapology (Multi-Territory STEM & Enrichment)

  • Localized Ad Creation: Produce and customize engaging photo and video advertisements tailored to all 5 Snapology territories: Burlington MA, Danvers MA, Fitchburg MA, Westwood MA, and Springfield MD.
  • Seasonal Paid Ad Campaigns: Plan, launch, and manage seasonal Google Ads and Facebook/Meta ad campaigns targeting peak enrollment cycles (summer camps, STEM workshops, holiday programs, and birthday parties).
  • Timely Post Boosting: Strategically boost top-performing organic posts across platforms to increase local reach, drive community visibility, and generate workshop sign-ups.
  • Local SEO / AEO / GEO Optimization: Optimize local search visibility across all territories—managing Google Business Profiles, local tags, and geo-targeted keywords so families and schools easily find our programs.
  • Promotional Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and manage promotional campaigns, discounts, and holiday specials across web and social channels.
  • AI Workflow Automation: Actively use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Opus, CapCut AI) to automate copy variations, ideate video hooks, and scale content production across all 5 territories efficiently.

Kumon (Waltham Math & Reading Center)

  • Organic Local Brand Marketing: Develop and execute community-focused organic marketing strategies to position our Waltham center as the premier local choice for math and reading tutoring.
  • Facebook & Instagram Management: Own the day-to-day social media presence on Facebook and Instagram—producing and publishing feed posts, daily Stories, student spotlight videos, and educational parent resources.
  • Seasonal Paid Campaigns: Run targeted seasonal Google and Facebook advertising campaigns to drive parent inquiries during back-to-school and mid-year academic recovery periods.
  • Local SEO / AEO / GEO for Waltham: Lead local search optimization specifically for the Waltham market to capture parents searching for after-school tutoring, math help, and reading development.

Shared Video Production & Publishing Operations

  • Short-Form Video Editing: Edit high-retention video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, video ads) using provided footage, student activity clips, and stock assets (pacing, dynamic cuts, captions, music, and on-screen text).
  • Graphic Design: Design branded promotional flyers, digital banners, and carousel graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Publishing & Engagement: Maintain structured content calendars, schedule posts using Meta Business Suite, and engage promptly with comments and inquiries.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor view counts, retention rates, cost-per-click, and lead inquiries across both brands, using data to continually refine creative assets.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in social media management and digital marketing, with strong short-form video editing skills (a portfolio or links to video work is required).
  • Advanced proficiency with video editing platforms (CapCut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro).
  • Demonstrated experience running and optimizing paid ad campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Practical understanding of Local SEO, Google Business Profiles, and geo-targeted social strategies.
  • Graphic design proficiency using Canva or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Proven experience leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, AI video editing assistants) to streamline creative workflows.
  • Exceptional written English communication skills with the ability to write engaging, error-free copy tailored to parents and educators.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing marketing deliverables across multiple distinct regional locations simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Experience marketing children's education, tutoring, youth camps, STEM programs, or franchise-based businesses.
  • Familiarity with the geographic markets of Greater Boston, Central Massachusetts, or Maryland.
  • Experience with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Metricool, Later, Sprout Social).
