French-Speaking Inside Sales Executive (HubSpot)

Role Summary:

We're looking for a French-speaking salesperson to build clients’ pipeline in France and the French-speaking markets around it. This is a remote role. You'll find and qualify opportunities by phone, email, LinkedIn, and video call, manage the sales process remotely, and book face-to-face meetings and site visits for our Sales Director where there's a genuine opportunity.

About Client/Company:

Client is a UK-based family business supplying PPE, workplace safety products and workwear. We sell directly to businesses and through distributor and reseller partners across the UK, Ireland and, increasingly, Europe.

We don't just sell on price. We help businesses improve safety, reduce risk and simplify how they buy, often through site assessments and product trials before a quote.

This role will focus on two ranges in particular:

  • Green Boom: Sustainable, compostable oil-only absorbents, a genuine alternative to plastic-based spill products.
  • Fashion Biz workwear: Quality workwear and uniform ranges, including Biz Collection, Syzmik and Biz Care.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, flexible schedule during the client’s business hours (UK Time, 20 hours per week)

The Role:

You'll be the first point of contact for the company in your territory, working entirely remotely. You'll run the sales process from first contact through to onboarding, and bring in the Sales Director when a face-to-face meeting or site visit is justified.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting: Identifying target end users and distribution partners, and starting conversations.
  • Discovery: Phone and video calls to understand what customers use now, what isn't working, and how they buy.
  • Qualification: Confirming the need, size of opportunity, decision-makers, and timescales before any meeting is booked.
  • Booking Meetings: Arranging face-to-face meetings and site visits for the Sales Director, with a clear brief on each opportunity.
  • Samples and Trials: Organizing sample deliveries and trials, and following up on the results.
  • Quoting: Preparing quotes and following them through to order.
  • Onboarding: Setting up new customers and partners so first orders go smoothly.
  • Account Growth: Regular contact with customers and partners to build repeat business. You'll work with both end users and distributors. A meeting is only worth booking when there's a real opportunity, so good qualification is central to the role. We'd rather have fewer, better meetings than a full diary of weak ones.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Business

  • Build and work a target list of end users in priority sectors: warehousing and logistics, manufacturing, industrial, food production, and facilities management.
  • Identify and approach PPE, industrial, and workwear distributors who could stock and sell Green Boom and Fashion Biz.
  • Run outbound activity by phone, email, and LinkedIn, using Apollo and our sales and marketing materials.
  • Hold discovery calls by phone or video to understand each prospect's operation, current products and buying process.

2. Qualifying and Booking Meetings

  • Qualify every opportunity against agreed criteria (need, potential volume, decision-maker, timescale) before booking a meeting.
  • Book face-to-face meetings, site visits and demonstrations into the Sales Director's diary.
  • Prepare a short written brief for every meeting booked, and follow up afterwards on agreed actions.
  • Arrange samples and trials, and turn trial results into orders.
  • Prepare quotes and follow them through to order, within agreed pricing guidelines.

3. Partners and Accounts

  • Onboard new customers and distributors, including product training for partner sales teams by video.
  • Keep in regular contact with active accounts to drive repeat orders and introduce new products.
  • Support our existing relationship with Manutan France.

4. Admin and Reporting

  • Keep all contacts, deals, activity, and meeting briefs up to date in HubSpot.
  • Report weekly to the Sales Director on activity, meetings booked, pipeline, and results.
  • Share market feedback, competitor information, and product ideas with the UK team.
  • Translate and adapt sales materials for French-speaking customers where needed.

Support and Training:

You'll be working on your own in the territory, but you won't be starting from scratch. You'll get:

  • Full product training on Green Boom, Fashion Biz workwear and our wider range, including time with the UK team and our brand partners.
  • Access to all sales and marketing materials, including brochures, product data, case studies, presentations and sample kits.
  • Our sales systems already set up: HubSpot CRM and Apollo for prospecting.
  • Marketing support from our marketing team for campaigns, LinkedIn content, and translated materials.
  • Regular one-to-ones with the Sales Director, plus a structured induction for your first 90 days.
  • Product samples and trial stock to support customer trials.

About You:

Essential Requirements

  • Native or fluent French, plus strong business-level English.
  • At least 2 to 3 years in B2B inside sales, telesales, or business development.
  • Confident on the phone and video, and comfortable making cold calls.
  • Good at qualifying: able to tell a real opportunity from a polite conversation.
  • A track record of generating new business and booking quality meetings.
  • Organised and self-motivated, able to work remotely and hit targets without close supervision.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in PPE, workplace safety, workwear, spill control or industrial supplies.
  • Existing contacts with distributors, wholesalers or safety buyers in France or Belgium.
  • Experience selling through distribution partners as well as direct.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM.
  • Dutch or German language skills.
