Social Media Manager (Flooring Installation)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Social Media Manager to take end-to-end ownership of their social media content process — from reviewing and polishing installation photos submitted by field fitters, to planning, scheduling, and publishing posts that keep the brand consistently visible online. You will work independently, managing a structured content calendar and ensuring every piece of content meets brand standards before it goes live. This is a flexible, part-time remote role that gives you genuine creative ownership with a clearly defined scope and minimal supervision.

Client Overview

Our client is a growing flooring installation company with an active team of field fitters delivering projects across residential and commercial properties. They generate a consistent stream of high-quality visual content from completed installations and are looking to build a stronger, more consistent presence on social media. The business is focused on organic brand discoverability and is ready to invest in a dedicated person to manage their content pipeline end to end.

Schedule Monday - Friday, United Kingdom, 9am - 5pm  (4 hours per day), flexible during client business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Review and organise visual content submitted by field fitters from completed flooring installations
  • Perform basic image editing to ensure content is polished and on-brand before publishing
  • Plan and schedule social media posts across platforms using content calendar tools
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule to ensure the brand remains discoverable on social media
  • Monitor content performance and provide light strategic input on improving engagement and reach
  • Ensure all published content aligns with the company's brand identity and quality standards

Requirements

  • Practical experience managing social media content calendars and scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite
  • Basic image editing skills using tools such as Canva
  • Understanding of social media best practices for engagement and discoverability
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage content workflows independently
  • Attention to detail when reviewing and preparing visual content for publication
  • Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Experience managing social media content for trades, home improvement, or property-related businesses is a bonus
  • Comfortable organising and sourcing visual assets from Google Drive
  • Possess a portfolio of social media accounts or pages grown organically is a bonus

Why Join This Team

  • Flexible part-time engagement of approximately 10–15 hours per week, fully remote
  • Creative ownership over the brand's entire organic social media presence
  • Clearly defined scope — no paid advertising, community management, or SEO required
  • Streamlined workflow with pre-sorted content assets available in Google Drive
  • Opportunity to grow with the brand as the social media function develops over time

Independent Contractor Perks

  • Permanent work from home
  • Immediate hiring
