Overview
Our client is looking for a skilled Shopify E-Commerce Developer to audit, reorganize, and optimize an existing storefront for improved conversion rates and performance. In this role, you will streamline product catalogs, enhance page speed, and implement specialized features like bulk pricing to elevate the overall user experience. You will also provide strategic recommendations to boost traffic and support the business's future expansion to additional e-commerce platforms.

Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week) with potential to grow into full-time

Responsibilities

• Audit and optimize the Shopify storefront for improved user experience and conversion rates
• Restructure product catalogs and collections to ensure logical navigation and clear categorization
• Improve site page speed and overall performance to reduce visitor drop-off
• Implement bulk and quantity pricing functionality for high-volume product offerings
• Provide strategic recommendations to increase traffic, engagement, and sales
• Support future expansion to additional e-commerce platforms beyond Shopify
• Collaborate with the client to ensure the site reflects competitive pricing and builds customer trust
• Ongoing site maintenance, performance monitoring, and iterative improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience with Shopify theme customization and storefront optimization
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices including SEO and conversion rate optimization
• Ability to organize and structure product catalogs for industrial or B2B product lines
• High level of attention to detail and quality assurance
• Strong communication skills with the ability to proactively suggest improvements
