Marketing Coordinator

Contract | Part-Time | Remote

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Marketing Support Coordinator to provide temporary part-time support to our client for their upcoming events in 2027.

This is a hands-on coordination role suited to someone with basic to intermediate marketing and event support experience who enjoys managing details, communicating with suppliers, and making sure everything is organised and ready on time.

You will work closely with their marketing team to coordinate a range of marketing, event, venue, booth, and presentation requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

Event & Venue Coordination

    • Coordinate furniture and equipment rentals for upcoming events
    • Research, contact, and coordinate restaurant options for meetings and client activities
    • Book and confirm hotels, meeting venues, restaurants, and other event-related requirements
    • Liaise with venues and suppliers to confirm schedules, requirements, deliveries, and setup details

Booth & Event Setup

    • Coordinate electrical, internet, and other technical requirements for event booths
    • Assist with coordinating booth design and liaise with designers, suppliers, and event organisers
    • Coordinate production and booking of marketing materials, signage, promotional items, and other event collateral
    • Track deadlines, deliveries, and supplier confirmations to ensure everything is ready for each event

Marketing & Content Support

    • Build and format 3 presentation decks using existing content and brand guidelines
    • Create product sample labels
    • Create and update product data sheets
    • Assist with other general marketing tasks as required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.

You don't need to be a senior marketer. The ideal candidate will have:

    • 1–3+ years of experience in marketing, marketing coordination, event coordination, administration, or a related role
    • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Confidence communicating with hotels, venues, suppliers, designers, and other external contacts
    • Ability to research options, obtain quotes, compare alternatives, and make recommendations
    • Good written and verbal English
    • Experience creating professional presentations in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar
    • Basic experience creating marketing collateral, labels, or data sheets
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
    • A proactive approach — someone who will follow up and make sure things get done rather than waiting to be asked

Technical Skills

Experience with some of the following would be beneficial:

    • Microsoft PowerPoint / Google Slides
    • Microsoft Word / Google Docs
    • Excel / Google Sheets
    • Canva or similar design tools
    • Basic marketing and event management tools
