Our client is seeking a creative and versatile Senior Digital & Multimedia Designer to serve as a creative powerhouse responsible for developing and delivering high-quality, visually compelling assets that build awareness, strengthen engagement, and drive meaningful social change. This role focuses heavily on end-to-end creative execution and digital presence, combining advanced graphic design, web experience design, and multimedia production. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the successful candidate will elevate the organization's brand across all digital, print, web, social, and content channels.

Responsibilities
- Creative Direction & Brand Identity: Maintain, strengthen, and champion the organization’s brand across all communication touchpoints, ensuring consistency, quality, and visual impact.
- Graphic & Print Design: Apply advanced graphic design skills to produce sophisticated, engaging, and accessible print collateral, presentations, annual reports, and advertising materials.
- Web & Digital Experience: Lead the design and development of webpages, campaign landing pages, and digital experiences, ensuring they are intuitive, responsive, and conversion-focused.
- Content Production: Create high-quality digital content, web assets, and social media graphics tailored for diverse channels and audiences.
- Multimedia Production: Write, edit, and produce multimedia content, coordinating or directly handling video production, animation, or photography requirements where necessary.
- Accessibility & Inclusion: Ensure all design and multimedia work is accessible, on-brand, and designed with deep respect and appropriateness for people with diverse lived experiences.
- Project Coordination: Develop production schedules, workflows, and asset documentation to manage multiple creative deliverables simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget parameters.
Requirements
- Portfolio link showcasing advanced capability in layout, typography, visual storytelling, and digital content creation.
- 7+ years of experience in graphic design, multimedia design, web design, or a closely related creative field.
- Strong web design and digital UI/UX skills, with experience creating user-centered online experiences.
- Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and familiarity with content management systems or digital publishing tools.
- Proven ability to translate complex or sensitive public health information into accessible, compelling public-facing visual content.
- Exceptional organization, strict attention to detail, and a commitment to quality control.
- Ability to work autonomously, take complete ownership of creative outcomes, and remain solutions-focused under tight timelines.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, public health, the not-for-profit sector, or purpose-led organizations.
- Experience creating visual assets for advocacy, awareness, or fundraising campaigns.
- Knowledge of digital accessibility standards (WCAG), informed consent protocols, and trauma-aware communication.
- Personal lived experience of chronic pain, disability, or chronic health conditions (valued, not essential).

This is a hands-on creative position within a small, mission-driven not-for-profit team. They offer a high level of creative autonomy and the unique opportunity to shape the visual voice of an organization supporting 2.6 million Australians living with chronic pain.
