Job Description
You’ll play a crucial role in building relationships with contractors across Australia’s trades industry, helping skilled professionals discover new business opportunities while expanding a cutting-edge service network. This isn’t just cold calling – you’ll be connecting contractors with genuine value through a proven portal system that helps them grow their businesses. With structured processes, clear success metrics, and attractive performance bonuses, you’ll have everything you need to succeed while making a real impact on the trades industry.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm with 1 hour break
Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Time (Melbourne)

Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted outbound calls to contractors across various trades (painters, electricians, plumbers, handymen, locksmiths)
- Deliver engaging 2.5-3.5 minute presentations about network benefits and portal opportunities
- Collect contractor contact information and qualify interest levels during initial conversations
- Manage lead pipeline using Excel spreadsheets with color-coded tracking system for optimal organization
- Send follow-up information packages via email to interested contractors
- Execute strategic follow-up calls 3-4 days after initial contact to drive contractor enrollment
- Focus expertise on specific trade categories to build specialized knowledge and rapport
- Work toward closing contractor sign-ups while maintaining professional relationship standards
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills with clear, professional phone presence
- Strong computer skills and reliable internet connection for remote work operations
- Experience with Excel spreadsheet management and data organization
- Professional persistence and follow-up capabilities for relationship building
- Bonus if you have 5+ years of telemarketing or sales experience
- It helps if you’re comfortable with structured call scripts and time management
