Job Overview

You’ll be the supportive voice that keeps ambitious high school students connected and motivated during one of the most important journeys of their lives. Working during peak student availability hours—evenings and weekends when they’re free from school—you’ll provide the personal touch that complements AI-driven college counseling. You’ll help students stay engaged, answer their questions, and guide them through their college application process with patience and encouragement.

Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week); Monday, Wednesday, Friday (7-11 pm EST) - Saturday, Sunday (3-7 pm EST)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct follow-up communication with high school students via SMS, email, and phone calls
  • Respond to student inquiries and provide guidance throughout their college application journey
  • Maintain consistent outreach to ensure students stay engaged with their counseling process
  • Support students with questions about college applications, essays, and activities
  • Document student interactions and progress in communication systems
  • Provide patient, encouraging support to students during stressful application periods
  • Follow up on student engagement and maintain regular communication schedules
  • Assist with outreach campaigns to help students apply to appropriate colleges

Requirements:

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Customer support experience, preferably working with young people or in education
  • Patience and empathy when working with high school students
  • Comfortable with multi-channel communication (SMS, email, phone)
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for remote work
  • Bonus if you have experience in education, college admissions, or student services
  • It helps if you’re naturally encouraging and can motivate students during challenging times

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
