Social Media Specialist - Canva

Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Graphic Design Specialist to support our marketing efforts. This role is focused on content creation, social media management, and basic website updates, ensuring a consistent and professional brand presence across all platforms.

This is a marketing-focused role — ideal for someone with strong graphic design skills who is also comfortable managing social media and making simple website edits.

Schedule: 20 hours per week (flexible between Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Brisbane time)

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Content Creation

  • Create high-quality graphic content aligned with brand guidelines
  • Design marketing assets such as social media posts, flyers, and email graphics
  • Ensure all visual content maintains a consistent and professional look

Social Media Management

  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar
  • Write engaging captions and post copy
  • Schedule and publish posts across platforms using CRM and native tools
  • Monitor and maintain brand consistency across all channels

Website & Landing Page Support

  • Assist with building and updating landing pages using WordPress (Elementor Pro)
  • Make basic content and layout updates to the website as needed

CRM & Marketing Tools

  • Use GoHighLevel to schedule content and support marketing activities
  • Maintain organized marketing assets and campaign materials

Requirements

  • Strong graphic design skills (Canva or similar tools)
  • Experience creating social media content and marketing materials
  • Familiarity with WordPress, ideally Elementor Pro
  • Experience with GoHighLevel or similar CRM platforms
  • Ability to write clear, engaging social media captions
  • Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Experience with email marketing design
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and campaigns
  • Experience working with remote teams

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
