Your Role: Social Media Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms for furniture business and personal branding
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content on LinkedIn and other social media channels
- Edit Zoom interview recordings including shortening content, cleaning up audio/video, and improving lighting
- Provide community engagement and outreach to relevant influencers and groups
- Offer strategic marketing recommendations and demographic targeting suggestions
- Handle light administrative tasks related to business operations and content management
- Maintain consistent posting schedules and content calendars across all projects
- Monitor social media trends and incorporate viral content strategies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media management and strategy development
- Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut or similar tools) (APPLICATIONS WITH SAMPLE CAPCUT VIDEOS/PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and other social media platforms - heavy on video editing
- Ability to work independently and proactively suggest improvements
- Experience with content creation and scheduling tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work UK time zone hours (8 AM UK time onwards)
Scope:
- Consistent schedule required (same 4-hour block daily, Monday-Friday)
- Work across three distinct projects: furniture business, personal branding, and interview content
- Direct collaboration with business owner on strategy and content direction
- Potential for role expansion based on business growth and performance
- Focus on both content creation and strategic marketing initiatives
