Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic cold calling to Tier 1 and Tier 2 building and construction companies across Australia
- Research and identify key decision-makers, including project directors, superintendents, and logistics managers for active construction projects
- Monitor daily construction industry news and project announcements (10–15 emails daily) to identify new opportunities
- Submit expressions of interest through strategic industry portals for upcoming projects
- Conduct LinkedIn research and outreach to identify project wins and key contacts
- Follow up persistently with prospects over weeks or months to reach the right decision-makers
- Track and manage leads to ensure no opportunities are missed
- Create and maintain prospect databases with accurate contact information and project details
- Occasionally post construction industry news and company updates on social media platforms
Requirements
- Previous experience in cold calling and lead generation, preferably within construction, manufacturing, or related B2B industries
- Strong understanding of the Australian construction industry landscape and terminology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle rejection while maintaining persistence
- Proficiency with LinkedIn for research and professional networking
- Experience using CRM systems and lead management processes
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Strong research skills to identify and qualify prospects
- Professional phone presence suitable for Australian business communications
Scope
