Job Description:

You will be the voice and visual storyteller for a mission-driven beauty tech platform, building genuine connections with customers and industry partners alike. This role gives you ownership over social media content creation, customer engagement, and brand partnerships with makeup artists and beauty brands. You'll craft compelling posts, manage conversations across platforms, conduct outreach to potential partners, and create short-form video content that resonates with a diverse audience of women seeking personalized beauty guidance.

Our client is an innovative beauty technology startup that combines AI and personalized guidance to help women navigate makeup and beauty products with confidence. Founded by professionals with backgrounds in both the beauty industry and tech, the company is launching a production chatbot and preparing for facial recognition features. They previously attracted 50,000 monthly views with zero marketing and are now ready to scale through strategic partnerships and organic social growth.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (US Eastern Time, 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Create and publish engaging posts across multiple social media platforms tailored to the beauty and tech audience
• Manage email communications and respond to customer inquiries with empathy and product knowledge
• Engage directly with customers by replying to comments and messages to build community and trust
• Conduct cold outreach to makeup artists and beauty brands to establish affiliate partnerships
• Develop short-form video content that educates and inspires women on makeup application and product use
• Write compelling copy that bridges the gap between beauty brands and their consumers
• Collaborate on testing and feedback for the chatbot and upcoming facial recognition features
• Represent the brand authentically on video content requiring strong on-camera presence
• Utilize AI video editing tools to streamline content production when possible
• Support the growth strategy during the critical launch phase of the production chatbot

Must-Have Requirements:

• Native English speaker or complete fluency with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience creating content for social media platforms with strong engagement results
• Comfortable and confident appearing on camera for video content
• Demonstrated copywriting ability with a focus on visual storytelling
• Experience with customer engagement and community management on social platforms
• Ability to conduct professional outreach and build partnerships through cold calling and messaging
• Short-form video creation and editing experience
• Genuine interest in beauty, makeup, or the cosmetics industry
• Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently in a remote startup environment
