Schedule: Monday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM Tuesday: 2:00 PM–6:00 PM Wednesday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM Thursday: 2:00 PM–6:00 PM Friday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.
Client Timezone: Eastern Standard Time
Client overview
Our client is a growing US-based financial services firm specializing in life insurance and annuities. Their sales-driven team helps individuals and families plan for protection and long-term financial security. They are expanding their outreach to a large pool of leads and are looking for a sharp, friendly voice to open the door to new conversations.
Job description
You will be the first voice prospects hear and the engine that keeps the sales pipeline full. Working from a provided list of cold leads, you will spark interest, qualify opportunities and book meetings so the team can focus on what they do best: running client conversations. You will have clear scripts, a standard dialer and a CRM to support you. You will own your outreach and be measured against agreed KPIs. If you are resilient, personable and driven to hit your numbers, you will see the direct impact of your work on the firm's growth. This role may start with one caller and grow into a small team depending on results.
The primary responsibility of this position is outbound prospecting and appointment setting for Nexus Wealth & Insurance. The caller will work from lead lists we provide and contact prospects across several different campaigns.
Prospect Types / Campaigns
The caller may be contacting:
• Small business owners
• Attorneys and other high-income professionals for disability income insurance
• Police officers and firefighters for retirement and financial strategies
• Mortgage protection leads
• Life insurance prospects
• Retirement and wealth-strategy prospects
Responsibilities
• Make consistent outbound calls to cold and warm leads provided by our company
• Generate interest and schedule qualified appointments
• Professionally represent Nexus Wealth & Insurance on every call
• Follow campaign-specific scripts while sounding conversational rather than simply reading a script
• Handle common initial objections and redirect the conversation toward scheduling an appointment
• Follow up with prospects who do not answer or request a callback
• Make multiple contact attempts at different times when appropriate
• Accurately document calls, outcomes, notes, callbacks, and appointments in GoHighLevel
• Maintain organized follow-up pipelines so interested prospects do not fall through the cracks
• Confirm appointments and help maximize appointment show rates
• Adapt communication style depending on whether the prospect is an attorney, business owner, first responder, or consumer
• Participate in call reviews, coaching, and script refinement
• Meet agreed-upon activity, appointment, and quality KPIs
Candidate Profile
Insurance or financial-services cold-calling/appointment-setting experience is strongly preferred.
Interested in candidates who have previously called:
• Insurance prospects
• Financial-services prospects
• Business owners
• Attorneys, physicians, executives, or other professionals
• Police officers, firefighters, or other public-sector employees
• Life insurance or mortgage-protection leads
Preference with actual outbound sales/appointment-setting experience rather than primarily inbound customer-service or general call-center experience.
Communication Requirements
The candidate should have:
• Excellent spoken English
• A clear, professional, easy-to-understand voice
• A light or neutral accent
• Strong conversational ability
• Confidence speaking with attorneys, executives, business owners, and other professionals
• A friendly and personable personality without sounding overly scripted
• Strong active-listening skills
• The ability to think on their feet when a prospect responds differently than expected
• The confidence to ask for the appointment without becoming aggressive or argumentative
Someone who can follow a script but still sound like a real person having a conversation.
Open to modifying those hours based on your experience and candidate availability. Please let me know whether split or variable shifts like this are workable for your Philippines-based candidates.
Systems
The caller will primarily use:
• GoHighLevel CRM
• Our provided dialer/phone system
• Company-provided lead lists
• Company-provided scripts and campaign guidance
Experience with GoHighLevel is preferred but not required if the candidate is experienced with comparable CRM systems and learns technology quickly.
