Bookkeeper (UK Electrical Services)

Client overview

Our client is a growing UK-based electrical services business managing an active portfolio of projects and clients. They operate with a lean, remote-friendly team and are building out the back-office infrastructure to support continued expansion. With a strong existing admin team in place, they are now looking to bring on a dedicated bookkeeping resource to keep their financial operations running smoothly.

Job description

You will serve as the sole dedicated bookkeeper for an established electrical services business, taking full ownership of day-to-day financial record-keeping and reporting. You will keep the books accurate and current through monthly reconciliations, stay on top of outstanding invoices, and give the business owner clear visibility into cash flow — all while working independently in a fully remote setup. This is a part-time engagement of approximately 10 hours per week, with genuine potential to grow your hours as the business scales.

Schedule: Part Time - 10h per week , flexible anytime

  • Bonus if you have experience working with trades or contractor-based businesses in the UK
  • It helps if you are familiar with UK VAT processes and compliance basics
  • Bonus if you have experience transitioning books from an outgoing contractor and picking up mid-cycle

Why join this team

  • Fully remote engagement — work from anywhere

  • Clear pathway to grow your hours as the business expands
  • Step into a defined role with direct impact on business decision-making
