Our client is looking for a Video Editor to be the creative force behind polished, scroll-stopping video content for multiple clients across different niches. In this role, you will work directly with raw footage captured on-site and transform recordings into brand-aligned, engaging social media videos that drive results.

Client Overview

Our client is a growing boutique social media agency based in New York, specializing in digital marketing, brand growth, and video content for local businesses across diverse industries. They work with clients ranging from beauty and wellness businesses to medical estheticians, creating engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms.

Schedule

Flexible schedule within Eastern Time business hours (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Edit approximately 20 videos per month using CapCut, working primarily during end-of-month batch editing periods
• Add captions, transitions, and interactive elements to create engaging social media content
• Adapt editing style to match diverse client aesthetics, from beauty and wellness to medical and informational content
• Ensure brand consistency across all video content for each individual client
• Review and manually correct AI-generated captions for accuracy
• Deliver polished final videos with fast turnaround times to meet monthly posting schedules
• Collaborate directly with the agency owner to understand and execute on client vision
• Maintain organized workflow during concentrated 15-25 hour editing periods toward month-end

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional video editing experience
• Experience editing content for TikTok and Instagram
• Expert-level proficiency in CapCut
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social media video work across different styles and industries
• Ability to adapt editing style to match varied brand aesthetics and niches

Qualifications

• Experience editing for beauty, wellness, or medical/esthetician content is a bonus
• Familiarity with batch editing workflows and managing multiple client projects simultaneously is beneficial
• Additional skills that could support social media marketing tasks during non-editing periods are a bonus
