Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition & People Operations Partner, you will report to the Senior Director of People & Performance and serve as the engine behind company growth. You will own end-to-end recruitment to find, attract, and close top-tier talent while shaping the broader employee lifecycle. From managing complex international visa sponsorships and right-to-work compliance to optimizing onboarding, offboarding, and People operations across multi-jurisdictional remote teams, you will act as a trusted strategic partner to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Hiring: Own full-cycle recruitment for technical, scientific, and commercial roles; partner with hiring managers to define role scorecards; build proactive talent pipelines; conduct structured, bias-aware interviews; manage ATS data and hiring metrics; represent the employer brand publicly.
  • Immigration & Visas: Manage visa sponsorship and work authorization processes (UK Skilled Worker, US routes, etc.); coordinate with external immigration counsel on applications, Certificates of Sponsorship, and renewals; maintain audit-ready right-to-work records.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Design and deliver a seamless remote onboarding experience (contracts, equipment, access, first-week logistics); lead respectful offboarding processes, exit interviews, and access revocations; feed exit insights back into retention strategies.
  • Operations & Compliance: Maintain HRIS records with high accuracy; administer multi-jurisdictional contracts, policies, leave, and benefits; ensure international employment law compliance; manage accurate payroll inputs and handle day-to-day employee queries.

  • Exposure to biotech, health-tech, deep-tech, or science-led environments is a significant advantage.
  • Experience navigating cross-border HR compliance across Europe, the UK, and the US.
