Bilingual Dispatch Agent (Spanish/English) - Amazon DSP

Overview

Our client is looking for a Bilingual Dispatch Agent (Spanish/English) - Amazon DSP to serve as a central remote operator for a fast-growing Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) managing approximately 80 drivers across a busy US territory. In this role, you will take direct ownership of up to 30 active delivery routes daily, serving as the primary line of support for drivers in the field. You will proactively coach drivers to keep routes on schedule, coordinate backup resources, and manage roadside incidents swiftly to protect delivery performance. Your calm under pressure, sharp situational awareness, and fluent bilingual communication skills will directly drive fleet success and driver outcomes every day.

Schedule:

  • Full-time - 40h per week - 8 am-5 pm EST business hours

Responsibilities

  • Monitor driver routes in real time via Amazon's dispatch portal, identifying drivers who are falling behind schedule
  • Proactively contact drivers to provide coaching, encouragement, and route guidance to keep deliveries on track
  • Coordinate rescue operations by dispatching backup drivers to assist those who are behind on their routes
  • Arrange tow services and manage vehicle breakdown incidents to minimize delivery disruptions
  • Assist drivers with navigation questions by identifying alternative routes or delivery access points
  • Communicate incident updates to on-site station personnel for situations requiring immediate physical response

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of dispatch or logistics experience, preferably within a US-based delivery operation
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Prior experience with Amazon delivery operations or a similar last-mile logistics environment preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation with a calm, encouraging communication style
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of attention to detail and situational awareness

Nice-to-have requirements:

  • Bonus if you have direct hands-on experience navigating Amazon's dispatch portal or comparable fleet tracking and route management platforms
  • It helps if you have previously supported large driver teams of 50 or more across a single service territory
  • Bonus if you have experience coordinating towing or roadside assistance vendors within a logistics or delivery environment
