Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Product & Visual Designer with an exceptional visual eye and a strong design sense. The ideal candidate will combine mastery of 3D Max for product visualization with expertise in Photoshop, catalogue/print design, and website UX optimization. This role involves taking full ownership of end-to-end design projects, from high-end print collateral to digital platforms and product visualization.

Schedule: Flexible within client business hours, 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM AEST (20 work hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Visualization & Technical Product Design:
  • Utilize 3D Max to produce high-quality 3D renders, technical product visualizations, and documentation that display a refined visual eye and strong spatial design awareness.
  • Build visually engaging product concepts and mood boards for print and digital channels.
• Graphic, Print & Catalogue Design:
  • Design and produce high-end print materials, including multi-page product catalogues, brochures, banners, business cards, and promotional collateral.
  • Manage print-ready workflows, including pre-press preparation, layout formatting, color proofing, and print specs.
  • Advanced image editing, resizing, retouching, and composition using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Develop and maintain brand identity, guidelines, logos, and presentation decks.
• Website Management & UX Design:
  • Optimize website layout and structure, ensuring the User Experience (UX) aligns seamlessly with the needs of industry professionals (designers, architects, distributors).
  • Oversee website content updates, product information, digital brochures, and platform migration projects.
• Social Media & Strategic Content:
  • Develop tailored visual content and social media graphics that reinforce the company's established style.
  • Track digital engagement and adapt creative visual strategy to industry trends.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Software Mastery: Expertise in 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Core Design Competencies: Proven experience in multi-page catalogue design, print production specs, and UX/UI design principles.
• Visual Standards: Strong sense of visual balance, composition, typography, and aesthetic judgment.
• Experience: Portfolio demonstrating high-end print catalogues, 3D renderings, and digital UX design samples.
