Are you an experienced video editor and digital marketer ready to drive the online presence of a values-driven organization?
We are looking for a YouTube Video Editor & Social Media Manager to take full ownership of editing sermon content, growing key social channels, and managing targeted MailChimp email campaigns. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in content calendar management, daily administrative support, and bonus experience migrating large video libraries from cloud storage to YouTube. In this role, you will combine creative editing with strategic execution to expand community reach and deepen audience connection.
Client Overview:
This is a well-established UK-based religious organisation with an active and engaged community both in-person and online. They produce regular sermon content and run a variety of community programmes, using digital channels to connect with their congregation and reach a broader audience. The organisation is investing in building a stronger, more consistent online presence across video, social media, and email.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM GMT (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Edit sermon recordings and prepare them for publication on YouTube with professional thumbnails
- Optimise YouTube video titles, descriptions, and tags to maximise searchability and audience reach
- Manage and grow the church's social media presence across relevant platforms
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns using MailChimp to engage the congregation and wider community
- Provide general administrative support including uploading receipts, organising digital files, and handling email correspondence
- Create graphic design assets such as thumbnails and social media visuals to maintain brand consistency
Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing and YouTube channel management
- Demonstrated ability in social media management and content strategy
- Graphic design skills for creating thumbnails and branded visual content
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask across different responsibilities
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently
Qualifications:
- Bonus if you have experience migrating or organising large video libraries (e.g. from Dropbox or similar cloud storage to YouTube)
- Experience managing content calendars and scheduling tools for consistent publishing
- Experience working with non-profit, community, or values-driven organisations
