Brand Creative Lead

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly creative, commercially minded, and experienced Brand Creative Lead to join the client and support the creation of high-quality visual and digital content for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

This is a versatile creative role suited to a designer who can work across different brands, industries, audiences, and content formats.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking creative briefs and business requirements and transforming them into professional, engaging, and brand-aligned graphics and digital content.

You will work on a variety of projects ranging from social media content, digital advertisements, presentations, marketing collateral, website graphics, promotional materials, infographics, and video content to internal communications and client-specific creative requirements.

The ideal candidate is someone who can operate independently, manage multiple projects, work to deadlines, and maintain a consistently high standard of creative output.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm (New Zealand Time) with a 1-hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

1. Graphic Design & Creative Production

  • Create high-quality visual assets for internal BOA needs and external clients, taking projects from  brief → concept → design → revisions → final delivery 
  • Produce social media graphics, digital ads, website graphics, marketing collateral, promotional materials, brochures, flyers, presentations, pitch decks, infographics, product graphics, educational content, internal comms, event materials, client-specific assets, digital banners, email marketing graphics, and campaign materials.

2. Digital Content Creation

  • Develop engaging digital content across platforms and formats, including social posts, carousels, short-form content, animated graphics, motion graphics, digital ads, website content, email graphics, video thumbnails, promotional videos, short-form video editing, branded presentations, and campaign assets.
  • Adapt creative assets according to different platform requirements and target audiences.

3. External Client Creative Support

  • Interpret client briefs, understand distinct brand identities, create content using individual brand guidelines, switch styles smoothly between clients, develop visual directions, and produce client-ready work.
  • Incorporate client feedback, manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain brand consistency, deliver within agreed timelines, and communicate professionally with internal stakeholders.

4. Internal Creative Support

  • Support internal teams with announcements, recruitment materials, employee comms, training materials, presentations, corporate documents, internal campaigns, events, business development materials, sales presentations, marketing campaigns, and company-wide communications.
  • Distinguish between internal corporate communication and external customer-facing content.

5. Branding & Brand Consistency

  • Follow established brand guidelines across typography, color, imagery, spacing, layout, and multiple client brand identities.
  • Create or adapt templates, improve existing content quality, and deliver polished, publication-ready visual output.

6. Social Media Creative

  • Create content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
  • Design static posts, carousels, promotional graphics, educational content, quote graphics, infographics, product features, client success stories, campaign content, short-form videos, and reels.
  • Capture attention and communicate messages quickly beyond basic aesthetics.

7. Video & Motion Graphics

  • Support video content development with basic editing, short-form video production, motion graphics, animated text, transitions, video captions, branded elements, reels, promotional videos, and video thumbnails.
  • Utilize tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent software.

8. Presentations & Sales Materials

  • Create presentations and sales materials using PowerPoint and Google Slides, including pitch decks, proposal presentations, sales decks, client reports, company profiles, capability statements, case studies, one-page brochures, and product presentations.
  • Transform large amounts of information into clear, visually digestible communications.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • 5+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong commercial portfolio.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, composition, visual hierarchy, and branding.
  • Proven ability to create social media/digital content, manage multiple projects and deadlines, pay high attention to detail, communicate effectively, and work independently.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs accurately, implement constructive feedback quickly, and maintain strong organizational and time-management skills.

Highly Desirable Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Figma, Canva, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and AI-assisted creative tools.
  • Expertise in motion graphics, video editing, digital advertising, social media content creation, email marketing design, website design, UI/UX fundamentals, infographics, presentation design, and AI tools.
