Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM Pacific Time
Hours: 20 hours/week
Client Timezone: Pacific Time
Work Arrangement: Remote

About the Client
Our client is a growing coaching and wellness business specializing in intuitive spiritual coaching, group coaching programs, and transformative retreat experiences.
The business has an extensive library of coaching recordings and retreat footage and is looking for a strong social media marketing professional to turn this existing content into engaging, high-performing social media content that builds the brand, grows the community, and generates new coaching clients and retreat participants.
About the Role
This is a hands-on social media marketing and content role, not simply a posting or scheduling position.
You will take ownership of repurposing long-form coaching sessions, live recordings, and retreat footage into compelling short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
The ideal candidate understands how to create content that captures attention, builds trust, encourages community engagement, and ultimately supports lead generation and client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Repurpose weekly group coaching recordings into engaging short-form videos.
- Identify strong hooks, insights, stories, and soundbites from long-form coaching content.
- Create Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and other platform-specific content.
- Edit videos with strong hooks, captions, subtitles, pacing, and visual elements.
- Repurpose retreat footage into compelling promotional and storytelling content.
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and calls-to-action that encourage engagement and conversions.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Identify relevant trends, formats, sounds, and viral content opportunities.
- Optimize content for reach, engagement, audience growth, and lead generation.
- Actively manage community engagement, including comments, questions, and messages.
- Build genuine relationships with followers and identify potential coaching or retreat inquiries.
- Monitor content performance and use insights to improve future content and strategy.
MUST-HAVE Requirements
- Proven social media marketing experience, beyond simply scheduling and publishing posts.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful content creation for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Strong short-form video editing and content repurposing skills.
- Proven ability to turn long-form videos, podcasts, interviews, webinars, coaching sessions, or similar content into engaging short-form content.
- Experience working with coaches, speakers, consultants, thought leaders, or personal brands is required.
- Hands-on community engagement and management experience is required.
- Strong social media copywriting skills, including hooks, captions, and calls-to-action.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, audience growth, and content performance.
- Ability to create content that supports brand growth, engagement, lead generation, and client acquisition.
- Excellent English communication and writing skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, creative, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience in the wellness or health sector is strongly preferred.
Candidates with experience creating and managing social media content for wellness brands, health professionals, coaches, therapists, fitness businesses, personal development brands, spiritual/wellness practitioners, speakers, or similar service-based businesses will be highly advantageous.
Experience in the coaching, wellness, health, personal development, or retreat space is a strong plus because the candidate will need to understand how to communicate sensitive, personal, and transformational topics in an authentic and engaging way.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience promoting coaching programs, retreats, workshops, masterminds, or online programs.
- Experience with wellness, health, fitness, personal development, or spiritual brands.
- Experience working with coaches, speakers, authors, or thought leaders.
- Experience with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Descript, or similar tools.
- Experience analyzing social media performance and optimizing content based on data.
- Understanding of audience targeting and demographic optimization.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a strong social media marketer with proven creative execution, not someone who simply schedules content.
The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, understands short-form video, knows how to work with coaches and speakers, is confident managing community engagement, and has experience in the wellness or health sector or a closely related industry.
They should be able to take raw coaching and retreat footage and independently turn it into content that captures attention, builds community, strengthens the brand, and drives potential clients toward the business.
A strong portfolio is essential. Candidates must be able to provide examples of their work across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
