Job Overview
A law firm is seeking an experienced GoHighLevel and WordPress Specialist to build out their marketing and client management systems from scratch. In this full-time remote role, you will design automated workflows, email/SMS nurture sequences, and client tracking pipelines within GoHighLevel. You will also manage a portfolio of WordPress sites hosted on AWS, leading a full theme migration from VamTam to GeneratePress while maintaining SEO integrity and site performance. This position is ideal for a technical professional skilled in CRM architecture and website rebuilding.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST with 1 hr unpaid break (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities
GoHighLevel - Full System Build-Out
- Build our GoHighLevel system from the ground up, including sub-accounts, pipelines, and opportunity stages for full client/case tracking (intake through close and retention). We have one workflow setup for criminal defense law but it still needs to be tested. Once tested and up and running then workflows need to be setup for Post Conviction Law, Civil Law, Wills and Probate.
- Design, build, and optimize follow-up and nurture sequences (email, SMS, and voicemail drop) across lead intake, sales, onboarding, and long-term client/referral stages.
- Build and manage email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and automated drip sequences within GoHighLevel.
- Configure workflows, triggers, tags, custom fields, and automations that connect intake forms, calendars, and the CRM.
- Build client tracking dashboards and reporting so the team can see lead status, campaign performance, and pipeline health at a glance.
- Set up forms, surveys, chat widgets, and appointment/calendar booking flows.
- Integrate GoHighLevel with our websites, phone system, and other third-party tools as needed.
WordPress - Website Management & Theme Migration
- Manage and maintain our portfolio of WordPress websites (4 currently, a 5th launching soon), all hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Lead the full conversion of our existing sites from VamTam themes to a purchased GeneratePress theme/license, rebuilding pages and layouts while preserving design intent, content, and SEO value.
- Rebuild and restyle pages using our purchased theme and associated page-building tools, ensuring a consistent, polished result across all sites.
- Maintain site speed, security, mobile responsiveness, and SEO integrity throughout and after the migration.
- Perform ongoing WordPress maintenance: updates, plugin management, backups, troubleshooting, and minor content/design changes.
- Work within our AWS-hosted environment for deployments, staging, and backups, coordinating with hosting support as needed.
Must-Have Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building complete, end-to-end GoHighLevel systems - not just applying templates or snapshots - including automations, pipelines/CRM, and email marketing.
- Strong hands-on WordPress experience, including direct experience with VamTam themes and with GeneratePress.
- Prior experience migrating or rebuilding WordPress sites across themes/page builders without losing SEO rankings or design quality.
- Comfortable working within an AWS-hosted WordPress environment.
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices: segmentation, deliverability, and compliance (e.g., CAN-SPAM).
- Strong attention to detail, ability to self-manage, and comfort taking ownership of a build from start to finish.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Available to overlap with US business hours (Central Time) for meetings and collaboration with the marketing team.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Experience marketing for a law firm or other professional services business.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for custom styling within WordPress.
- Experience with GenerateBlocks, Elementor, or other page-builder tools used alongside GeneratePress.
- Experience with Zapier (or similar tools) for connecting GoHighLevel to other systems.
