Job Overview

We're looking for a Video Editor and Content Coordinator to serve as the right hand to a busy health and wellness entrepreneur. You will take content creation from filming to publishing, starting with video editing using AI-assisted software and expanding into email management, coupon administration, social media engagement, and client communication support. You'll follow established systems and processes while having room to grow into more strategic responsibilities as the business scales. Client Overview

Our client is a nutrition and gut health specialist based in California who creates educational content for clients through high-touch wellness programs. They operate an online business with course delivery through Kajabi, active email marketing campaigns, and a growing social media presence across multiple platforms.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4hrs daily, Pacific Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form video content using Descript software, including AI-assisted editing, silence removal, filler word cuts, and jump cut smoothing
• Review edited video timelines to ensure quality and coherence before final client review
• Upload and publish video content across designated platforms following established workflows
• Manage coupon codes and promotional offers in the Kajabi platform backend
• Monitor and respond to comments on social media using the ManyChat automated reply system
• Assist with email inbox management and client communication responses
• Support email marketing campaigns and content scheduling
• Provide administrative support for online wellness programs and client touchpoints

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media management or content coordination
• Proficiency with video editing tools and platforms, particularly Descript or similar AI-assisted editing software
• Experience with social media platforms and content publishing workflows
• Strong attention to detail and ability to quality-check edited content
• Comfortable learning new software systems and following documented processes

Qualifications

• Bonus if you have experience with Kajabi or similar course platform backends
• It helps if you've worked with ManyChat or automated social media engagement tools
• Bonus if you have a background or interest in health, wellness, or nutrition content
• It helps if you've supported entrepreneurs or small business owners in a virtual assistant capacity
• Bonus if you're experienced with CapCut or other video editing platforms beyond Descript
