Overview
Our client is looking for a proactive and solutions-oriented HubSpot & Shopify Developer to support the optimization of their HubSpot ecosystem and Shopify integrations. This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for a professional skilled at solving technical challenges, improving business processes, and building scalable automations. You will work directly with stakeholders to conduct root-cause analyses, perform data mappings, and implement long-term system enhancements. Join a dynamic remote team focused on elevating customer experiences and internal operational efficiency.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM EST (20 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Optimize and maintain the company's HubSpot CRM and related technical operations.
- Design, build, and improve HubSpot workflows and automation.
- Configure and maintain CRM properties, pipelines, permissions, and user settings.
- Develop and optimize reports and dashboards to support business decisions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within HubSpot.
- Create, test, and improve integrations between HubSpot, Shopify, and other business systems.
- Configure and maintain Zapier or similar automation platforms.
- Test data flows and ensure accurate synchronization across connected platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform root-cause analyses on operational issues and recommend long-term improvements.
- Document processes and provide recommendations for system enhancements.
- Support ongoing optimization of customer interactions and internal sales and operations workflows.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proven experience administering and developing within HubSpot.
- Strong understanding of CRM architecture, automation, and workflow design.
- Experience building and troubleshooting HubSpot integrations.
- Familiarity with Shopify and its integrations with third-party platforms.
- Experience with automation tools such as Zapier or similar integration platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and testing skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- HubSpot Certification(s).
- Experience with HubSpot APIs or custom integrations.
- Experience working with Shopify apps and custom workflows.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or other web technologies.
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools.
