Job Overview

We're looking for a dynamic Appointment Setter who will serve as the frontline voice driving new business for a growing staffing company. Working from a targeted lead list of 192 businesses, you will make outbound calls following a proven two-minute script to identify companies in need of workers and secure their interest in staffing services. This is a phone-based role where your ability to connect, qualify interest, and gather signed order forms will directly impact the company's growth.

Client Overview

Our client is a US-based temporary staffing and temp-to-perm hiring services company specializing in placing workers across restaurants, airports, janitorial services, and other service industries. They connect businesses with qualified workers for both short-term and permanent placement needs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Make outbound cold calls to businesses from a pre-built lead list including restaurants, airports, and janitorial services
• Follow a provided two-minute script to introduce staffing services and assess hiring needs
• Identify decision-makers and qualify their interest in temporary or temp-to-perm workers
• Schedule follow-up conversations or collect signed order forms from interested businesses
• Track call activity and outcomes to measure daily performance
• Maintain organized records of outreach and business responses
• Adapt your approach based on business type and immediate staffing needs

Requirements

• Proven experience in appointment setting or outbound cold calling
• Excellent communication skills with a professional phone presence
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow scripts while sounding natural and conversational
• Self-motivated and consistent with daily call activity

Qualifications

• University educated
• Bonus if you have staffing or recruitment industry experience
• It helps if you have worked with service-based businesses or blue-collar staffing
• Familiarity with CRM or lead tracking tools is a plus
