Overview
Our client is looking for an aggressive, self-directed, and AI-fluent AI-Assisted Development Operations Specialist to run an AI-assisted fundraising operation for a growing faith-based classical academy. Acting as the critical execution layer between executive leadership and external development consultants, this role owns the operational execution of two parallel campaigns: an annual operating fund (~$500K+) and a major capital campaign (~$6M). You will actively leverage Large Language Models (specifically Claude or similar platforms) in a real-world work context to build prompts, conduct research workflows, and scale personalized outreach autonomously from day one.
Schedule:
- Part-Time (20 hours per week). Flexible within Central Time business hours (Mon–Fri).
Responsibilities
- AI-Powered Donor Research & Synthesis: Prospect and build comprehensive profiles on potential donors using LinkedIn, public records, and web searches. Leverage Claude/LLMs to synthesize complex data into actionable donor briefs.
- Personalized Communications at Scale: Draft all donor outreach materials—including personalized emails, call scripts, handwritten notes, and board member intro messages—tailored to specific prospect tiers and ask levels.
- Pipeline & CRM Ownership (Bloomerang): Fully own and maintain the donor pipeline within Bloomerang. Log every interaction, enforce schedule triggers, and ensure no follow-up falls through the cracks.
- Outbound Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct proactive prospecting across regional business networks, community circles, and family business groups aligned with the academy's mission.
- Board & Cabinet Coordination: Track board/cabinet assignments, manage task deadlines (who is calling whom, by when), and issue automated reminders for missing intros or quiet prospects.
- Campaign & Major Event Logistics: Support major fundraising events by tracking sponsors, managing attendees, and executing personalized post-event follow-ups within 48 hours.
Requirements
- Proven AI Proficiency: Extensive experience using Claude or similar LLM platforms in an active work context. Must know how to build prompts and run AI research/drafting workflows independently.
- CRM Expertise: Hands-on experience managing donor pipelines, specifically within Bloomerang or comparable donor CRM platforms.
- Operational Drive: Highly proactive and aggressive mindset—someone who flags silent donors, surfaces upcoming grant deadlines with drafts ready, and manages up without needing daily supervision.
- Communication & Research Skills: Advanced web research capabilities and excellent business/fundraising writing skills.
- Mission Alignment: Comfortable supporting a faith-based educational institution with high discretion and reliability.
