Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Luxury Travel Consultant (Tramada & Power BI) who combines exceptional luxury travel consulting expertise with strong analytical and commercial acumen. This is a hybrid role that serves as both a trusted Senior Travel Consultant for high-value clients and the agency's Business Intelligence Analyst. In this position, you will leverage Tramada and other business systems to uncover strategic insights that drive business growth, improve profitability, optimize supplier relationships, and enhance the overall client experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury travel, understands the commercial drivers of a successful travel business, and enjoys transforming data into meaningful business decisions.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Sydney (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Analyze booking, financial, operational, and customer data from Tramada to develop executive dashboards, reports, and revenue forecasts.
- Monitor business KPIs, consultant productivity, sales trends, and supplier profitability to recommend strategies that improve agency margins.
- Design bespoke luxury leisure and corporate travel itineraries for high-net-worth clients, managing complex multi-destination bookings, flights, cruises, tours, and transfers.
- Provide VIP pre-departure and post-travel support, resolve travel disruptions, and foster long-term relationships with repeat clients.
- Maintain accurate Tramada booking records, perform data quality audits, and manage reporting accuracy across all business units.
- Evaluate supplier performance, commission structures, and preferred partner yields to maximize overall agency revenue.
- Streamline operational workflows, develop reporting SOPs, and collaborate with leadership to implement data-driven process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Travel Consultant with extensive hands-on experience using Tramada.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel alongside experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of travel agency financials, airline fares, cruise products, luxury hotels, and destination management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets, interpret commercial trends, and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Exceptional customer relationship management, communication, and presentation skills tailored for luxury clientele.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and proven time management capabilities.
