Our client is seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented Part-Time Regional Accountant to support their financial operations across Singapore and Vietnam. This role focuses on core financial execution: managing day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online (QBO), mapping local agency financial statements, and preparing data for parent-level consolidation.

You will work directly under the supervision of the Financial Lead, who retains overall responsibility for strategic decisions, high-level compliance, and final audit sign-offs. This is a flexible, part-time position ideal for an experienced accountant who thrives in hands-on data management and multi-entity workflows.

Responsibilities:

Full-Charge Bookkeeping (Three Singapore Entities)

• Monthly Close & Reconciliations: Maintain routine, full-charge bookkeeping for three Singapore entities directly within QBO in local currency, leveraging established internal tracking models.
• Quarterly Currency Translation: Perform quarterly foreign exchange (FX) translations from SGD to USD in Excel for one designated Singapore entity using provided exchange rates.
• Data Integrity: Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliations, process entries, categorize transactions, and flag discrepancies or anomalies to the Financial Lead.

Data Mapping & System Uploads (One Vietnam Entity)

• Agency Data Mapping and Quality Control: Review monthly financial statements provided by a local Vietnamese accounting agency, perform data quality screening and cleaning before applying pre-established Chart of Accounts (COA) mapping to align data with internal structures.
• QBO Integration & FX Translation: Execute foreign exchange (FX) translations (VND to USD) using provided rates, and accurately upload mapped financial data into parent-company QBO instances.

Compliance & Audit Support (Mainly SG Entities)

• Regulatory Filings Support: Assist in gathering data and preparing documentation for regular Singapore statutory filings, including Corporate Tax (Form C/C-S), ACRA annual returns, and FATCA compliance.
• Audit Preparation: Support the annual audit process by preparing Provided-by-Client (PBC) schedules, pulling QBO reports, and completing account reconciliations.
• Document Management: Organize and archive financial files into existing company-wide file management systems to ensure audit-ready documentation at all times.

Financial Reporting & Ad-Hoc Support

• Investment Reporting: Prepare and review financial data quarterly to support performance tracking sheets for Singapore investment vehicles.
• Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the Financial Lead with ad-hoc accounting tasks and data analysis as needed.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is strictly required.
• Very strong command of Excel data functions—such as advanced lookups and conditional formulas—to streamline multi-tab data mapping and reconciliation.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Tech-savvy with an expectation to consistently use digital workflow tracking tools to communicate and collaborate seamlessly with a remote team in lieu of face-to-face meetings.
• 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping/accounting experience with a deep, practical mastery of general accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
