We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Administration Officer to support both our Credit and Investment teams. This is a remote, part-time role (20 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow as our business expands.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, flexible schedule within the client’s business hours (New Zealand Time, 20 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Credit Administration
- Assist the Credit Manager with loan administration.
- Enter settled loans into the EasyLodge loan management system accurately and promptly.
- Maintain loan records and supporting documentation.
- Monitor upcoming loan maturities and proactively manage the loan expiry process.
- Assist with arrears management by following up on 30, 60 and 90-day overdue loans.
- Contact borrowers regarding loan maturity, repayments and outstanding documentation.
- Escalate issues to the Credit Manager where appropriate.
- Investment Administration
- Support the Investment Managers with investor onboarding.
- Review investor application forms for completeness.
- Enter investor details into the CRM and investment management systems.
- Prepare onboarding documentation and maintain investor records.
- Follow up with investors to obtain outstanding documents or information.
- Assist with general administration relating to investor onboarding and servicing.
- General Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records across all systems.
- Ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
- Liaise with borrowers, investors, solicitors and other stakeholders via phone and email.
- Provide administrative support to both the Credit and Investment teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Take on additional operational responsibilities as the business grows.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous 5 years+ administration experience in banking, lending, finance, accounting or financial services preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Confident speaking with customers over the phone.
- Comfortable learning new software systems (EasyLodge, CRM and Microsoft Office).
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience:
- Loan administration or mortgage administration experience.
- Collections or arrears management experience.
- Customer service experience within financial services.
- Experience with CRM or loan management systems.
Performance Expectations:
- Loan settlements entered into EasyLodge within agreed turnaround times.
- Investor onboarding completed accurately and efficiently.
- Timely follow-up of maturing and overdue loans.
- High level of data accuracy with minimal errors.
- Professional customer communication.
- Continuous improvement of operational processes.
