Job Overview
As a Business to Business Development Specialist , you will be responsible for conducting outbound calls to UK business owners, qualifying prospects, and booking appointments for the senior sales team. You will build rapport with decision-makers, confidently navigate gatekeepers, and maintain accurate records in HubSpot. This role is ideal for someone with previous UK B2B appointment-setting experience who is comfortable working in a regulated financial services environment.
Schedule: Remote, Part-Time | Monday to Friday 9:30am to 1:30pm UK (GMT/BST).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to UK business owners to generate qualified appointments.
- Engage with prospects to assess interest without selling products or providing financial advice.
- Schedule qualified meetings directly into the sales team's calendar.
- Navigate gatekeepers and identify key decision-makers.
- Maintain and update lead records, call outcomes, and follow-up activities in HubSpot.
- Provide end-of-day activity reports, including outreach volume, outcomes, and scheduled appointments.
- Support prospect list building and LinkedIn outreach to strengthen the sales pipeline.
- Maintain professional communication while adhering to company processes and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in B2B appointment setting or outbound sales development
- Previous experience with lead generation.
- Proven experience working with UK business owners and decision-makers.
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with HubSpot or a similar CRM platform.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong confidence handling gatekeepers and reaching decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while consistently meeting outreach and appointment.
