Job Overview

A growing Connecticut-based direct mail marketing company is seeking a Graphic Designer (Direct Mail & Print) to support their in-house team in creating high-quality postcard campaigns and printed materials. Working as a dedicated design partner, you will handle projects from concept to completion for businesses in home services, healthcare, and other diverse industries. This is a full-time, remote position (40 hours per week) with flexible shift options aligned with Eastern Time. You will collaborate closely with a senior design lead, offering a stable opportunity to shape client brands through print media.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, flexible between 9 am - 5 pm or 11 pm - 7 am EST (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Design postcards and direct mail marketing materials following brand guidelines and client specifications
  • Rebrand existing postcard templates and create new designs based on detailed instructions
  • Perform data entry tasks related to job tracking and status updates within internal systems
  • Upload artwork to USPS portals for postal incentive programs
  • Work directly under a designated in-house designer on assigned projects throughout the week
  • Maintain organized files and update job statuses in company programming systems
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistent quality across all client deliverables
  • Adapt designs based on feedback and client requirements while meeting project deadlines

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional graphic design experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating postcard design, print design, or direct mail experience (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Excellent English communication skills for client and team interactions
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software
  • Experience with print design specifications and requirements
  • Ability to work independently while taking direction from a design lead
  • Comfortable with data entry and learning new internal systems
  • Reliable availability for 40 hours per week on a consistent schedule
  • Bonus if you have previous experience with direct mail marketing campaigns
  • Bonus if you're familiar with USPS postal incentive programs or mailing systems
  • It helps if you've worked with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home services industry clients
  • It helps if you have experience working remotely with US-based companies
