Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a proactive Sales and Business Development Representative (Cybersecurity) to manage a significant pipeline of 32,000 contacts and provide critical real-time support during industry events. This role is a combination of technical cold outreach and high-speed lead follow-up, designed for a professional who understands the cybersecurity sales landscape.

Schedule: Full-time (35+ hours per week) aligned with US Eastern business hours

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound cold outreach to prospects, including CISOs and IT managers within the cybersecurity space.
  • Categorize and manage a pipeline of approximately 32,000 existing contacts for targeted engagement.
  • Provide real-time remote support during industry events by sending personalized follow-ups to booth leads within one hour.
  • Nurture event-generated leads through structured post-conference follow-up sequences.
  • Identify and generate new leads to continuously expand the sales pipeline.
  • Qualify prospects and coordinate meeting scheduling for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate directly with senior leadership, including the CEO, CTO, and VP of Product, to establish a structured sales function within a specialized niche.
  • Leverage a massive, pre-existing contact pipeline of 32,000 potential leads to play a pivotal role in the success of major industry conferences.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in B2B sales development, preferably within cybersecurity or SaaS industries.
  • Prior SDR/BDR experience within a cybersecurity company is a bonus, but a solid understanding of security operations, network visibility, NDR, EDR, SIEM, or SOC workflows is not required.
  • Familiarity with engaging technical decision-makers such as CISOs and IT managers.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messaging.
  • High level of attention to detail when managing and categorizing large volumes of contacts.
  • Ability to work independently within the US Eastern timezone business hours.
  • Experience with CRM categorization of high-volume lead lists (Nice-to-Have).
  • A proven track record of setting meetings with C-level security executives (Nice-to-Have).
