Social Media Manager

Job Overview:

A London-based digital agency specializing in physical venues and experiential spaces is seeking a part-time, remote Social Media Manager. You will own the social presence for both the agency and a portfolio of distinct client accounts, with long-term potential to grow into a strategic lead.

Schedule: Remote, Part time | UK Business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Set clear, channel-specific social media strategies—including goals, content pillars, and cadence—for both the agency and individual client accounts.
  • Ideate a steady pipeline of engaging formats, hooks, and copy tailored to each brand's unique audience across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
  • Juggle the agency's profile and a portfolio of client channels simultaneously, ensuring strict brand separation and distinct voices at all times.
  • Focus on organic reach, follower acquisition, and building actively engaged communities while regularly tracking and reporting on performance metrics.
  • Own day-to-day engagement by monitoring replies, comments, and direct messages, as well as initiating proactive conversations to build brand reputation.
  • Build and oversee social identity frameworks and tone-of-voice guidelines to keep every channel distinct, on-brand, and visually or textually aligned.
  • Spot and capitalize on fast-moving social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to keep content fresh and native to each algorithm.

Requisites:

  • Proven track record of growing real, highly engaged accounts on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X, with measurable before-and-after results.
  • Deep fluency in platform-specific algorithms, formats, and audiences, ranging from TikTok short-form trends to LinkedIn founder-led B2B content.
  • Strong multi-brand discipline with the ability to manage and cleanly separate several distinct brand voices simultaneously.
  • Excellent copywriting and ideation skills, capable of producing creative content and adapting to specific tones with minimal hand-holding.
  • Natural community-building instincts and a passion for managing daily interactions across comments, threads, and DMs.
  • Self-directed work ethic with the ability to own outcomes, manage time independently, and collaborate effectively with a remote, lean team.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, physical venues, or events, alongside basic content creation skills (Canva, video editing) and social tool proficiency.

Independent Contractor Perks:

  • Immediate Hiring
  • Permanent Work from Home.

Notes:

  • Please click the "Apply" button to complete your application, including the assessment questions, technical check, and voice recording. Your hourly pay rate will be established based on your performance in the application process; submissions with all requirements fulfilled will receive priority review.
