Spanish Bilingual Customer Support Agent

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Bilingual Spanish Customer Support Agent (Insurance) to support producers and US-based staff with administrative insurance workflows. In this role, you will integrate with existing teams in both the US and Colombia, manage reporting and carrier portal documentation in English, participate in Spanish-language team meetings and internal communication, and ensure all renewal deadlines and COI requests are met without delay.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage carrier notifications by logging into portals for cancellation and underwriting tasks
  • Process suspension items and maintain accurate records in the AMS (NowCerts)
  • Handle pre-renewal workflows including document uploads and text message reminders
  • Generate Certificates of Insurance (COI) for commercial insurance clients
  • Assist agents in filling out Accord form applications for new and renewal business
  • Organize and coordinate finance agreements for commercial policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the insurance industry (P&C or Health)
  • Proficiency with AMS systems (NowCerts) and rating tools (Turbo Raider, Easy Links)
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to support 75% Spanish-speaking clients
  • Exceptional multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for policy renewals
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and clear communication
