Job Overview
Our client is looking for a reliable, coachable, and highly organized Customer Support Representative to support the day-to-day operations of a growing cleaning services business. The role will initially focus on customer service and prescreening support. The ideal candidate is someone who takes direction well, follows established systems and processes, and can execute tasks independently once properly trained. This is not a role for someone looking to completely redesign existing processes. The company already has systems in place and needs someone who can learn them, follow instructions, communicate proactively, and consistently get things done.
Client Overview
Our client is a locally owned professional cleaning company providing residential and commercial cleaning services. The company is committed to delivering reliable, high-quality service with a strong focus on customer care, trust, and clear communication.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2 hours per day within the client's business hours (10 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Assist with prescreening inquiries, leads, or applicants based on established criteria.
- Provide customer service support through phone, email, text, or other communication channels.
- Respond to customer inquiries and assist with basic service-related concerns.
- Follow up with customers, prospects, or applicants as required.
- Accurately follow established workflows, systems, and instructions.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of interactions and follow-ups.
- Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and outstanding items.
- Proactively ask questions when instructions or information are unclear or incomplete.
- Escalate issues appropriately when additional support or direction is required.
- Take on additional administrative, customer service, or sales support responsibilities as trust and experience grow.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, Customer Service Representative, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
- Professional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and established processes accurately.
- Highly coachable and receptive to direct feedback.
- Able to work independently without requiring repeated instructions.
- Proactive in communicating questions, challenges, or missing information.
- Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.
- Comfortable working with a direct and results-focused business owner.
- Experience in the cleaning, home services, or service-based industry is an advantage but not required.
Ideal Candidate
You are a strong executor and communicator. You do not need constant supervision, but you also know when to ask questions. You are comfortable working within established systems, taking clear direction, and following through consistently. The right candidate will have the opportunity to earn greater trust, take on additional responsibilities, and potentially expand their working hours over time.
