Our client is seeking a highly motivated Inbound Sales Representative (Moving & Relocation) to join a growing remote team supporting customers throughout the moving services sales process. This role is ideal for someone who excels at converting inbound inquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering an outstanding customer experience. The successful candidate will confidently manage inbound sales calls, nurture leads through consistent follow-up, accurately process bookings and payments, and maintain detailed records using CRM software. Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM Cicero, NY, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Answer inbound calls from prospective customers and convert inquiries into confirmed moving service bookings; build rapport with customers by understanding their requirements and recommending suitable options; clearly explain services, pricing, scheduling, and availability.
- Lead Management: Conduct timely follow-up calls and communications with prospective customers who have not yet booked; maintain an organized sales pipeline in SmartMoving CRM to ensure every lead receives appropriate follow-up; identify customer needs and overcome objections.
- Booking & Payment Processing: Process customer bookings accurately within the CRM; collect and process customer payments while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality; verify booking details to minimize scheduling or service errors.
- CRM & Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up history; utilize RingCentral for inbound and outbound customer communications; collaborate with internal team members to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Requirements
- Inbound Sales Experience: Proven experience in inbound sales, inside sales, or phone-based customer service.
- Conversion Skills: Demonstrated success converting inbound inquiries into bookings.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication, active listening skills, and a professional, confident telephone presence.
- Operational Habits: High attention to detail when processing bookings and payment information; ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
- Technical Setup: Reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet home office suitable for handling customer calls, an updated computer, and a quality USB headset with a noise-canceling microphone.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications
- Experience using SmartMoving CRM (Preferred).
- Experience using RingCentral or similar VoIP phone systems (Preferred).
- Previous experience in the moving, relocation, logistics, transportation, or home services industries (Preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management (Preferred).
- Experience working with U.S.-based customers (Preferred).
