Social Media Support Agent (WordPress & SEO)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Support Agent to manage content creation, optimization, and social media scheduling for our clients. In this role, you will leverage AI tools and WordPress to write and format engaging blogs, manage basic website updates, and run boosted ad campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tech-savvy professional with a blend of writing talent, familiarity with SEO, and platform management skills to thrive in a dynamic, remote environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Alabama time

Responsibilities

  • Blogs: Curating new blog topics based on previous performance and client strategy.
  • Content Creation: Writing approved topics using AI and internal guidelines, then reviewing content to ensure quality, relevance, and accuracy.
  • Sourcing & Formatting: Sourcing relevant images and formatting blogs on WordPress using SEO plugins for optimization.
  • Social Media: Scheduling and boosting blogs (2 per month per client) on Meta and LinkedIn with the correct audience and budget.
  • Admin & Tracking: Keeping track of tasks in the internal spreadsheet and updating tickets in the task management system.
  • Website Management: Handling minor website edits such as page titles, images, and text changes.

Requirements

  • Content Writing: Experience writing and editing content, including using AI tools effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Social Media Experience: At least two years of experience creating content for social media and managing social media accounts.
  • WordPress: Experience formatting blogs and making basic site edits like changing text and images.
  • SEO: Familiarity with optimizing content using WordPress SEO plugins.
  • Paid Social: Experience scheduling posts and running basic boosted ad campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Task Tracking: Strong organization skills with experience using spreadsheets and task management systems.
  • Tools: Proficient in MS Office, Windows, Google tools, and WordPress.

Highly Regarded Skills and Experience:

  • Basic Design: Ability to use Canva to resize or edit social media images.
  • Meta Ads Manager: Experience running more advanced ad campaigns beyond basic boosting.
  • Basic HTML: Foundational code knowledge to fix minor WordPress formatting issues.
  • Analytics: Ability to check Google Analytics to see how blogs are performing.
