Role Overview: eCommerce Specialist (eBay & Customer Support)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented eCommerce Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of a high-volume online store specializing in automotive parts. This role is ideal for someone with strong eCommerce experience who can optimize product listings, manage store operations, provide excellent customer support, and help drive continued sales growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate product information, improving listing quality, coordinating promotions, and ensuring customers receive timely support throughout their buying experience.

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm  PST

Responsibilities

eCommerce Operations

  • Create, upload, and optimize product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, and item specifics.
  • Manage inventory levels and update existing listings as stock changes.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend listing improvements to increase visibility and conversions.
  • Coordinate new product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Support website and marketplace operations to ensure products are displayed accurately.
  • Monitor store performance, sales metrics, and marketplace analytics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and web developers as needed to support store operations.

Customer Support

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding products, orders, shipping, and returns.
  • Process orders, cancellations, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary and maintain accurate customer records.

General Support

  • Assist with basic social media posting and promotional activities.
  • Maintain organized documentation and product records.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing eCommerce stores, preferably eBay, Amazon, Shopify, or similar marketplaces. Portfolio required
  • Experience within the automotive parts, automotive aftermarket, vehicle accessories, industrial products, or similar industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of product listing optimization, SEO, and marketplace best practices.
  • Experience with inventory management, order processing, and customer service.
  • Excellent written English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable analyzing store performance and recommending improvements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
