Role: Social Media Assistant

Schedule: Part Time - 20h per week - flexible within CDT business hours

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the company's social media presence across platforms such as Instagram and YouTube
  • Develop and execute a content strategy to build brand visibility and audience engagement
  • Repurpose raw photos and videos provided by the in-house team into polished, platform-ready social media posts
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content consistently on a part-time basis
  • Monitor social media performance and suggest improvements to increase reach and engagement
  • Handle light administrative tasks such as managing emails, organizing files, and supporting internal communication

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices across major platforms
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Creative eye for visual content and brand consistency
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Scope:

  • Part-time engagement of approximately 20 hours per week
  • Focus on building the company's social media presence from the ground up
  • Content creation will be based on raw materials provided by the client's team
  • Potential to take on additional administrative support tasks over time
  • Opportunity to evolve into a broader marketing or admin support role as needs are defined
