We're a music marketing agency that grows artists' streaming audiences through paid social. We're the best in the space because of our testing matrix — we test song parts, then test visuals against the winning audio, then scale. Expect to launch hundreds of ads a month; the job is testing constantly to keep improving performance.
We're hiring an Ads Specialist to run and optimise Meta Ads campaigns — mostly conversion campaigns driving traffic from Meta to Spotify to grow listenership, plus sales campaigns for album/merch launches, ticket sales for tours, and post boosting.
This is not a client-facing role. You'll work in tandem with an Account Manager who owns the client relationship and leads strategy — you execute, troubleshoot, and advise and make sure the ads are performing at the best possible level.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (UK Time), with a 1-hour unpaid break (40 hours per week, 8 hours per day)
What You’ll Do:
- Build and run Meta Ads conversion campaigns (and some YouTube Ads), sending traffic from Meta to Spotify, plus ticket sale campaigns for tours and sales campaigns for album/merch launches using our own proprietary software
- Come up with video ad ideas and brief our AI generation tools to produce them — e.g., surfing or skateboard visuals for a punk song. You don't need to be a designer, just have a sense for what makes a high-converting ad for a given song, then test it, see what wins, and iterate
- Do basic editing — e.g., cutting a music video into social ad formats
- Run our testing matrix: test song parts first, then test visuals against the winning audio part, then scale campaigns to build Spotify momentum
- Onboard new clients: connect Meta assets (ad accounts, pixel, Conversions API), build custom audiences, and troubleshoot when clients can't connect (missing access, account issues, etc.)
- Monitor and scale live campaigns, flagging issues and suggesting next steps to the Account Manager
- Report on Meta campaign metrics alongside Spotify for Artists streaming data, and help decide how to move campaigns forward
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid, hands-on Meta Ads experience: campaign setup, pixel/CAPI, custom audiences, conversion campaigns
- Working knowledge of YouTube Ads
- Comfortable with basic video editing
- Data-driven — confident reading of ad and streaming metrics to inform decisions
- Organised enough to manage multiple client accounts and campaigns at once, be precise, and minimise mistakes
- Bonus: interest in music/artist marketing
