Social Media & Influencer Coordinator (Shopify)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Social Media & Influencer Coordinator to support their marketing team. Starting at 20 hours per week, this role combines social media management, influencer coordination, content production, and marketing administration, all supported by a strong visual eye and a genuine understanding of fashion culture.

A key responsibility of this role is managing the influencer gifting program to generate high-quality content. You'll work closely with the Marketing & Ecommerce Manager to ensure influencers consistently create imagery and video that aligns with current product priorities and broader marketing campaigns.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 4 work hours per day (Flexible anytime during client business hours) (20 work hours per week)

  • Alternative option: Tuesday - Thursday (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

Daily Social Publishing

  • Manage the daily publishing schedule across Instagram and TikTok, ensuring all content is planned, created, written, designed, and scheduled in advance.
  • Instagram Feed: Plan the Instagram grid weeks ahead with a cohesive visual flow; select and arrange imagery to maintain a strong brand aesthetic; write engaging captions, hashtags, and product callouts; schedule posts using the designated scheduling platform.
  • Instagram Stories: Create daily Stories featuring products, behind-the-scenes content, polls, promotions, and reactive content; design Story templates and graphics in Canva; write all Story copy and overlay text; schedule or publish Stories daily.
  • TikTok & Instagram Reels: Plan and schedule regular TikTok videos and Instagram Reels; write captions, hooks, and on-screen text; assist with basic video editing, including captions, pacing, and trending audio; monitor social media trends relevant to the fashion industry.
  • Content Planning: Maintain a forward-planned content calendar; ensure feed posts, Stories, and video content work together as a cohesive weekly content strategy; organise and repurpose content assets within the shared content library.

Graphics & Content Production

  • Create branded graphics for social media, including promotional posts, Story templates, sale graphics, and marketing assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Assist with light editing of Reels, TikToks, and Stories.
  • Ensure all creative content aligns with the client's brand guidelines and visual identity.
  • Support additional content production tasks as required by the marketing team.

Influencer Gifting & Content Pipeline

  • Work closely with the Marketing & Ecommerce Manager to understand campaign priorities and content requirements.
  • Manage influencer gifting with clear campaign objectives and measurable content outcomes.
  • Brief influencers on product focus, styling direction, required content formats, and posting timelines.
  • Track gifted products, expected deliverables, deadlines, and follow-up communications.
  • Collect, organize, and catalogue influencer-generated content for use across social media, e-commerce, and marketing campaigns.
  • Identify content gaps and recommend solutions before launches.
  • Maintain an up-to-date gifting and content tracker in Google Sheets.

Influencer & PR Coordination

  • Support the management of the ambassador and influencer gifting programs.
  • Research and identify influencers whose audience and aesthetic align with the client.
  • Manage influencer outreach, communication, and ongoing relationships.
  • Coordinate PR gifting, including product selection, packaging, and shipping.
  • Process gifting through Shopify and coordinate with fulfilment teams.
  • Follow up with influencers after delivery to confirm receipt and ensure agreed content is delivered.
  • Manage campaign timelines, influencer briefs, and content approvals.
  • Maintain accurate influencer performance records and databases.

Marketing Administration

  • Maintain organized Google Sheets for influencer databases, gifting trackers, PR campaigns, content calendars, and marketing administration.
  • Process influencer orders through Shopify and monitor shipments.
  • Assist with marketing administration, including mailing lists, delivery tracking, and PR coordination.
  • Support brand collaborations and campaign coordination as required.

Requirements

Essential

  • Genuine passion for fashion and current industry trends.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok.
  • Excellent visual and creative judgement.
  • Experience planning, writing, and scheduling daily social media content.
  • 1–3 years' experience in a Social Media, Influencer, or Marketing Coordinator role.
  • Professional written English.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets.
  • Experience using Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform.
  • Close attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Available to work the agreed schedule.

Preferred

  • Strong Canva skills with the ability to create branded templates and graphics.
  • Basic video editing experience using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar software.
  • Experience managing influencer gifting programs with measurable content outcomes.
  • Familiarity with scheduling platforms such as Later, Plann, Planoly, or Buffer.
  • Previous experience within the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle industry.
  • Understanding of influencer outreach and PR workflows.
