Their services focus on helping young people with disabilities participate in recreational activities, develop social skills, and achieve personal goals through one-on-one support in community settings. JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to build and manage the online presence for a disability support services organization. This role will focus on creating engaging social media content that enhances brand credibility and showcases the organization's services across Facebook and Instagram. The position requires someone who can develop a comprehensive content strategy and maintain consistent posting schedules to increase visibility and engagement. RESPONSIBILITIES Create social media posts for Facebook and Instagram using photos and materials provided by the client Submit all content to the client for approval before publishing to ensure brand alignment Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting schedules across all platforms Build and implement social media strategies that enhance brand credibility and online presence Optimize content using appropriate hashtags and SEO strategies to maximize reach and engagement MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses, particularly Facebook and Instagram Strong content creation skills with the ability to design visually appealing posts that align with brand messaging Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently while following approval processes NICE-TO-HAVE REQUIREMENTS Experience creating content for disability services, healthcare, or community support organizations Knowledge of social media analytics and ability to track engagement metrics Experience with graphic design tools and content scheduling platforms
