Job Overview
We're a creative agency that makes brand films and video content for companies, and our social presence doesn't yet match the quality of the work we produce. That's the job. We want one person to own how we show up online and to grow it into something people actually follow.
This is a role for someone who is genuinely into this stuff. If you study how brands and creators win attention, have opinions about what's working on each platform right now, and get a real kick out of testing an idea and watching the numbers move, you'll like it here. If you're looking for a list of tasks to clear so you can clock out, this isn't the one.
Schedule: Full-time · Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST
What you'll own
You'll be the person behind our entire social presence, with real room to shape it:
The content engine. Plan, create, and publish across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Decide which platforms deserve our focus instead of spreading thin everywhere. Turn the video work we already produce into short-form content that earns attention.
The community. Reply to comments, DMs, and mentions like a real person, build relationships that grow trust in the brand, and spot conversations worth jumping into. Good engagement quietly turns into leads, and you'll be close to that.
The channels, end to end. Own the calendar, the scheduling, YouTube optimization (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, playlists), and our email newsletter.
The numbers. Track what's working, report it simply each week and month, and actually change what you do based on what you learn.
The ideas. Bring us things we haven't thought of. New formats, new platforms, a series worth trying. This is the part we care about most.
Here's what that ownership covers in practice, so you know exactly what you're signing up for.

Requirements
- 2–3 years of proven experience working as a Social Media Manager, Community Manager, or in a similar digital marketing role.
- A track record of running social accounts and growing an audience. Show us, don't just tell us. Links to work you're proud of beat any résumé line.
- Genuinely strong written English. You'll be a public voice for the brand, so this is non-negotiable.
- Solid short-form video editing: captions, pacing, music, clean cuts for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
- Comfort with Canva and with scheduling and analytics tools.
- Self-direction. You can take an outcome and run with it without being managed task by task.
- Most of all, curiosity. You keep up with this space because you want to, not because a job made you.
Nice to have
Not required, but they'll help you stand out: Adobe Creative Suite, email tools like Beehiiv or Mailchimp, YouTube SEO experience, a real design eye, and time spent in the video, creative, or agency world.
Honest about the role
It's broad. You'll wear several hats, and for a while you'll be the only person on social, so you have to start and finish things on your own. Some of what we make is for complex or industrial clients, not just easy lifestyle content, so part of the craft is making unglamorous subjects genuinely interesting. People who find that fun tend to thrive here. People who only want to post pretty things tend not to.
