Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and highly organized NDIS Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a disability services agency. This role is responsible for coordinating participant services, managing schedules, maintaining accurate compliance records, and providing administrative support across the organization. The ideal candidate has experience working within the NDIS framework, is proficient in ShiftCare, and is confident communicating with participants, families, and support workers.
Schedule
Full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm AEST with 1 hr unpaid break
Responsibilities
- Manage participant scheduling and service coordination to ensure seamless delivery of disability support
- Conduct outreach and maintain communication with stakeholders including participants, families, and support workers
- Support NDIS compliance and auditing processes by maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Assist with general HR administrative tasks such as onboarding coordination and policy adherence
- Handle inbound and outbound communications with empathy and professionalism, particularly with vulnerable individuals
- Perform day-to-day administrative duties to support the operational needs of the agency
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working within the NDIS framework or a healthcare/disability support setting
- Proficiency with ShiftCare and other care management or scheduling platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of cultural sensitivity
- Basic understanding of NDIS auditing, compliance, and HR requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Ability to interact compassionately with individuals who may have mental health challenges or cognitive impairments
