Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist – Employee Relations & Training Coordinator to support our organization's Training & Development and Employee Relations functions. This role is responsible for coordinating employee training programs, fostering positive employee experiences, addressing workplace concerns, and ensuring compliance with company policies and HR procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and capable of handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific Times, Los Angeles, CA time. with one hour unpaid for break
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Coordinate, schedule, and manage employee training programs and learning initiatives.
- Track training completion, certifications, and renewal requirements.
- Maintain training records and ensure employees remain compliant with required courses.
- Assist in identifying training needs and recommending development opportunities.
- Support the creation and improvement of training materials and processes.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and workplace issues.
- Conduct regular employee check-ins and help promote a positive work environment.
- Assist in resolving employee conflicts and facilitate effective communication between employees and management.
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Escalate complex employee relations matters when necessary.
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and internal procedures.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and other employee lifecycle activities.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain employee-related databases.
- Support various HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Training & Development, or a similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems/tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is an advantage.
