The Project Delivery Coordinator (PDC) will own the workflow for each project after the team in BC completes the initial site visit and assessment. This role will ensure scope validation, material and labor cost estimation, timelines, communications, and internal follow-up stay
organized. This is a 100% remote position supporting a BC-based operations team. The role acts as the main link between the client, the field team, and the admin/operations team, managing the project from initial review through work order creation, scheduling, installation
support, and compliance.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM BC Canada time, some flexibility is needed as you may work on projects using Eastern Time
Key Responsibilities
Initial Review & Scope Validation
● Verify completeness of job data clarify gaps immediately
● Assign priority based on client deadline and project complexity
● Confirm scope details with the parties and keep everyone aligned on changes
Estimating & Cost Calculation
● Quantify materials by category and calculate material costs
● Calculate labor hours per task and labor costs
● Create Job Estimates using company templates
Work Order Creation & Scheduling
● Generate Work Orders
● Schedule technicians and contractors remotely
● Coordinate permit booking (if required by BC municipality) with local team
● Coordinate material orders from BC vendors and equipment reservations
● Confirm material delivery to site through vendor coordination
Project Coordination & Communication
● Coordinate scheduling, track milestones, deadlines, and open action items using project management tools
● Work with Admin/Finance Clerk on billing triggers, purchase orders, and documentation via shared systems
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
● Ensure BC compliance requirements are documented and verified
● Escalate risks, delays, or scope changes early via communication channels
● Collaborate with Chief Technician on safety and compliance verification through virtual check-ins
Project Closeout
● Close out projects properly, ensuring all deliverables and records are complete in shared systems
● Confirm client walkthrough, maintenance manual, and warranty info delivery documentation
Required Skills
● Fluent in English (written and spoken)
● Strong client communication and relationship-building skills via virtual channels
● Ability to understand technical scope, including cable runs, drops, conduit requirements, camera locations, and service requirements for data/comms/CCTV
● Good organization, follow-up discipline, and attention to detail
● Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders remotely and manage priorities under deadlines
● Strong self-management skills for remote work
● Ability to work during BC business hours (GMT-7/GMT-8 time zone overlap)
● Understanding of time zone management and virtual collaboration tools
Preferred Experience
● Experience in telecom, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, CCTV installation, or a related technical service environment
● Experience in Project Management
● Experience working with project-based customer accounts and remote internal coordination
● Experience creating material and labor cost estimates for technical installations
● Experience coordinating permits, vendor orders, and technician scheduling from a remote location
● Previous remote work experience with international companies, preferably Canadian.
