Graphic Designer (Custom Apparel & Uniform Design)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and fast-paced Graphic Designer (Custom Apparel & Uniform Design) specializing in custom apparel and uniform design. In this full-time remote role, you will use Adobe Illustrator and company-provided templates to transform customer briefs into visually appealing, production-ready artwork for sports teams, corporate clients, and custom merchandise. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume environment, possesses advanced proficiency in vector design, and deeply understands Pantone color systems and print-ready specifications. This position operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST and includes timed design assessments during the hiring process.

Schedule

Mon-Fri, 9 am - 6 pm PST (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Create custom apparel and uniform designs using company-provided templates for sports teams, corporate clients, and other custom merchandise projects
  • Interpret customer design briefs and translate concepts into visually appealing, production-ready artwork
  • Produce high-quality design mockups with fast turnaround times to support a high-volume order environment
  • Follow established brand guidelines, color palettes, and Pantone color specifications to ensure consistency across all deliverables
  • Revise and refine designs based on client and internal feedback while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare artwork for production and ensure files are print-ready and compliant with company standards
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing design, production, and customer requirements

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required)
  • Strong graphic design portfolio showcasing apparel, sportswear, uniforms, merchandise, or related design work (required)
  • Proven experience creating custom apparel, garment graphics, sports uniforms, teamwear, promotional products, or similar visual assets
  • Strong understanding of color theory, garment decoration, and Pantone color systems
  • High attention to detail with the ability to maintain design accuracy and production readiness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
  • Ability to manage priorities, handle multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Experience within the custom apparel, sportswear, team uniform, textile, print, merchandising, or promotional products industry preferred
  • Experience working with production templates, manufacturing specifications, or print-ready artwork preferred
  • Familiarity with apparel production workflows and garment decoration processes preferred
  • Experience creating technical design files, product renderings, or tech packs preferred
