Job Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Business Growth & Performance Analyst to help drive strategic growth across the business. This is not a traditional administrative or task-based role. Our client is looking for someone who can think critically, analyze business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations that contribute directly to business growth.
The ideal candidate will combine strengths in business analysis, digital marketing insights, data reporting, and strategic planning. They will work closely with leadership to assess current performance, identify areas for improvement, and help implement initiatives that generate measurable results.
This role is highly outcome-focused and will be measured by business impact, project completion, and achievement of key growth objectives rather than routine daily tasks.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Between 12:00 PM onwards l 20 paid hours per week - Auckland, New Zealand Time
Responsibilities

Analyze business performance data and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Develop regular reports and dashboards that provide clear insights into business performance and growth metrics.

Monitor marketing activities and assess their effectiveness, providing recommendations to improve return on investment.

Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to identify growth opportunities.

Work closely with leadership to establish business goals, KPIs, and growth initiatives.

Develop and present strategic recommendations based on data analysis and business insights.

Track progress against growth targets and provide ongoing performance reviews.

Assist in planning and executing projects that support business development and operational efficiency.

Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, customer acquisition, and customer retention.

Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively drive them to completion.
Requirements

Strong background in business analysis, business development, growth strategy, or performance management.

Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including reporting, dashboards, and data analysis.

Experience interpreting business data and translating findings into practical recommendations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience working with KPIs, performance metrics, and business reporting.

Familiarity with CRM systems, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools.

Healthcare, wellness, or service-based industry experience is advantageous but not required.
